It’s wedding season again! People are getting married all over the place, it’s sunny, beautiful, and love is in the air… but how do you decorate for your wedding? How will you make it stand out from the rest? How will you make your wedding rememberable by everyone?

You’ve come to the right place. You can use litecubes in every cup, or you can just use light up cups! You can use blinkies, custom pins, or other flashing items to set the mood and fill the room with that special something you want everyone to feel on your special day. Better yet…

What about the most unique wedding dress ever? Why not make an entire wedding dress out of white flashing body lights? Everyone would remember that and you would have a bunch of really neat souvenirs to give your guests after the wedding… a part of your dress! Lights really make the scene at any event these days, and usually the smaller and brighter, the better. Those little body lights can be seen from about a mile away, and you can fit about 4000 or 5000 on an outfit if you were really dedicated. The batteries last for up to a few days in them, so worrying about them burning out before you could turn them all on wouldn’t be a problem. You may want to enlist a few friends to help you activate all the lights though!

Another idea for your wedding – as we mentioned in a previous post – is to take any combination of color of body lights, and stick them on every table cloth, or inside flowers to give them that extra ‘spark’. There are several colors, so you need not worry about only getting them in white. Check out all of our body lights. You can also go for the heart theme, and get a bunch of unique flashing hearts, to help symbolize love and the beginning of that eternal bond. There are many possibilities to spice up your wedding decor with our lights! Or, you can go the traditional route, with flameless flickering candles. The safe reusable candles! It’s a known fact that people wait until Memorial Day, a federal (post office) holiday, to do A LOT of shopping. Most people have Memorial Day as a day off from work, and most retailers have great sales specifically on Memorial Day. How can you capitalize or get more customers in your doors on that day?

One possibility is by giving out some patriotic flashing pins on and around the day. People will be attracted to the lights, and possibly tell their friends and family where they got the pins, and what a great sale you had! People love free things.

Why is Memorial Day patriotic, and why do people get so worked up for it? Memorial Day is a day of remembrance to those who died in active military service to the country. If you support the military, veterans, and your country in general (and most of the general public do!) it is a great idea to hold an event on Memorial Day, and promote is as such a huge occasion! If you promote the event throughout the month to all of your customers, and possibly give out the flashing pins to remind them to come back on the momentous occasion, you will have the largest retail Memorial Day you’ve had in years, rivaling that of a Black Friday.

A fantastic thing about the patriotic flashing pins is that they’re very reusable. The 4th of July is just a couple months away, and the patriotic pins are another way to promote it – using the same red white and blue flashing style pins. If you don’t want to promote, but rather profit from the pins themselves, you can sell the pins at an event for a few bucks a pop. Kids go nuts for them!
